We need to be re-educated and redirected. Black America is on a collision course with itself. All it takes is one good look around you to see that our youth as a whole have little direction and even less self worth. They have cleaved to the idea that life is all about flash and posh rides. The media is consistent with pumping all the wrong media into our community. We see people with ill-fitting clothing, gold and diamond incrusted teeth, poor grammer and the only thing they have to talk about is illeagal activities and ballin’. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not condeming rap, hip-hop, or any other type of music. The problem is when kids see so much of it that they can no longer seperate fantasy from reality. Parents have to step in and become their childrens role models. We as a community have to take charge of what is bieng pumped into our kid’s minds. We can either sit back and watch the future of Black America crash and burn or we can, have-to, and will do something to save what our brothers like Malcom, Dr. King, and so many others marched for and even died for.
